Overview
When illness becomes serious, it’s necessary for the afflicted one and their family to find a new normal. Those afflicted may pray for healing, but to no avail. They feel like their prayers are hitting the ceiling and coming back down. Eventually their discouragement may turn to resentment and bitterness.
Yet others who suffer hold on to hope and continue to trust in God. They are thankful despite their circumstances. They have learned what it is to find their refuge in the everlasting Father.
What is involved in someone being healed? Does God always heal? What is the purpose of suffering? These are some questions this study will address.
