Overview

Million Dollar Baby tells the dark, despairing tale of a boxing coach’s struggle with faith. When he pours his heart into the personal struggle of a young female boxer, tragedy strikes, and he is put to the test: to do what his priest suggests, or to take matters into his own hands.

This study will look at the movie’s themes of finding meaning through our talents, facing bitter trials, and learning what it means to love others.
