Overview

The longer we have read Scripture, the longer we have attended church services, the longer our vocabulary of religious words has grown. But how many of these words could we actually explain or define? Some we hear only occasionally, and we think we know what they mean. Others, like amen, we use all the time. Perhaps we need to be reminded about where some of these words came from and what purpose they serve in our religious lingo.
