Overview

Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster movie of 1982 remains on the list of top movie moneymakers. The movie reminds us that if there are extra-terrestrials out there (quite a long shot), they may not be the monsters we’ve seen portrayed on the screen in movies like Independence Day, Alien, and others. In reality, E.T. the movie portrays an alien with many traits like those Jesus Christ exhibited when he visited earth. The redemption of a family through E.T., the character, offers us a powerful portrait of how lives can be transformed under the impact of a supernaturally loving person. E.T. ultimately shows people how to truly love and become better human beings.
