Overview

Erin Brockovich, for which Julia Roberts won the 2000 Best Actress Academy Award, is based on events from Brockovich’s life. Brockovich bullied her way into a clerking job at the law offices of Masry & Vititoe, where she discovered medical records in a real estate case file. Her investigation into the deteriorating health of residents in Hinkley, California, would test her resolve, her motherhood, and her integrity.
