Overview

We want to love others and not be judgmental in the church. We want to extend grace, because we know our own lives are much less than perfect. But one big issue before us today demands essential clarity about what the most loving response would mean. Are we to accept gay marriage as a normal, God-ordained alternative to traditional marriage? Why shouldn’t homosexuals have the same moral and legal rights to partner with others of the same orientation?

Evangelical Christians must respond. Yes, we want a non-judgmental attitude. But does being non-judgmental imply moral relativism? What does God’s Word say about marriage and homosexuality?
