In the beginning God created a perfect community, starting with Adam and Eve, the supreme accomplishments of Godís creation. They sinned and distorted this perfect creation, putting into motion Godís mission to restore humanityís fallen community back to perfection.
Godís Promise of Hope to Abraham
Through Abrahamís faith, God offered hope for a fallen world.

God promised that through Abrahamís faith he would bless the entire world and establish an everlasting covenant with mankind. With Abraham, God started to rebuild the perfect community that once was in Eden. This study will examine the nature of faith and Godís abiding love for his people.
Moses and the Ten Commandments
The laws God gave to the Hebrews point the way back toward Godís perfect peace and community.

God called Moses to lead his people out of slavery to the Egyptians. On the way to the Promised Land, God gave Moses the law to guide them and enable them to be Godís ambassadors to the world. These laws reveal the way to true freedom, and ultimately, to Christ.
Godís Eternal Covenant with David
The promise of a royal lineage eventually led to Jesus Christ, the salvation of the world.

God used David to carry on his mission to restore perfect fellowship and community. Jesus: Fulfillment of Godís Promises
Jesus is the culmination of Godís efforts to restore our broken world.

God himself, in the man Jesus Christ, came to make a perfect community possible, and he did so through Jesusí sacrifice on the cross. In this study, weíll see how all of history led up to Godís enormous expression of love through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Godís plan of restoration continues today with Christís charge to share his hope and love with the world.
