In a perfect garden, the perfect amount of rainfall would arrive just when needed, the right amount of sunlight would reach both the sun and shade loving plants, no pest or disease would disturb any plant, and each plant would
produce its maximum yield. Such gardens, however, do not exist.
Likewise, in a perfect life for a Christian or a church, death, disease, and disagreement would be absent. Yet life in the body of Christ reflects the truths demonstrated in the garden: that there are issues and forces that combine to make things less than perfect.
