Overview

The gimmick behind Fox’s hit show 24 is that it’s a real-time story that chronicles the events of one 24-hour day in the course of 24 episodes. But the glue that holds the series together is its main character, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). Fighting terrorists, making tough decisions, bucking red tape, and doing whatever it takes to get results, Bauer is an intriguing character.

This study will focus on Jack Bauer’s character traits in the context of scriptural truth. Who is Jack? Are his uncompromising efforts brutal and reckless or heroic and measured? Do his ends justify his means?
